When you're planning your wedding, understanding the cost of live music is an important part of your budget. As a wedding guitarist based in Worcestershire, I offer transparent pricing for acoustic guitar performances at ceremonies, drinks receptions, and wedding breakfasts across the West Midlands and surrounding counties.

Most couples choose one of three popular options depending on which parts of their day they'd like live music. Prices reflect the time, preparation, and equipment needed to create the right atmosphere for your celebration. Every wedding I play is fully insured, using professional PAT-tested equipment, and I always arrive early to set up so you don't have to worry about a thing.

This is my most popular option. I'll play acoustic guitar during your wedding ceremony, then continue through your drinks reception while you're having photographs taken. Your guests will be entertained with a mix of romantic, contemporary, and classic songs - from Beatles and Ed Sheeran to acoustic versions of modern hits.

How much does it cost to hire a wedding guitarist?
Most wedding guitarist packages range from £500 to £550, depending on which parts of your day you'd like covered. The cost reflects the performance time, travel, equipment setup across multiple venue locations, and the preparation required to learn your chosen ceremony songs.

I'm based in Worcestershire, so prices may vary slightly for venues further afield in Herefordshire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, or Shropshire - but I'm always happy to discuss this when you get in touch.
What affects the cost?
The main factors are: which parts of your day you'd like music (ceremony, drinks, breakfast), travel distance from Worcestershire, and any special song requests that need arranging. I always explain pricing clearly, and there are no hidden costs. What you see is what you pay.
What's included in the price?
Every booking includes: professional sound equipment with multiple speakers for different areas, early arrival and setup (usually 90 minutes before the ceremony), learning your requested ceremony songs, a wide repertoire of acoustic wedding music, fully insured performance with PAT-tested equipment, and a digital album sent to you after your wedding as a keepsake.
Do you travel outside Worcestershire?
Yes - I regularly play at wedding venues across Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Shropshire, and throughout the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Solihull, and Coventry. I know many of the popular wedding venues in these areas well, which means I can set up efficiently and work seamlessly with venue coordinators.
Can I hear the songs before booking?
Absolutely. I always invite couples to visit me at home in Worcestershire, where we can go through song ideas for your ceremony together. You'll hear how different songs sound on acoustic guitar, and you'll leave feeling confident in your choices. This personal approach is something couples really appreciate - it makes the music feel special to you, not just another wedding.
